Once you’ve done that, using the URL Builder itself is quite simple!
First you enter the URL of your landing page.
Next you enter the values you want to use for, at a minimum, utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign.
utm_term and utm_content are technically optional, but you should almost always supply values for these as well, as explained in the article above.
If you’re building a URL for an ad, select the appropriate ad network under Auto Cost Update. This will add the necessary ad ID parameter that allows ClickMagick to track your ad costs.
And that’s all there is to it! You can then click to copy your new URL, or even create a Smart Link for it.
There are lots of additional optional parameters you can add to your URLs for different purposes, but you’ll learn about those over time as necessary, or you may never need them at all.
